To be a highly reputable teacher education institution that prepares students, teachers, and other stakeholders for the challenges of technological and general national development.

 

Mission Statement

Provision of an enabling environment in the specific area of vocational/technical education. For students, teachers, and other stakeholders to develop themselves intellectually and practically so as to contribute meaningfully to societal, national, and global development.

  1. Develop in all stakeholders a global orientation and recognize the place of God in the lives of stakeholders and the institution.
  2. Employ cutting edge technologies and other most appropriate approaches to teacher education and research, and community service.
  3. Emphasize information management, technical and vocational education.
  4. To ensure national job creation, place emphasis on entrepreneurship for empowerment in all courses of study.
  5. Explore, exploit, and use in a sustainable manner, local resources for teaching, research, and entrepreneurship.
